a) Population
 i) What’s the population of the country?  Compare this to the population of the US.  (Hint: The US population is 318,860,032 and counting (it gets higher every 8 seconds, but use this number for the assignment.)
The population of Bolivia is 10,631,486 people.  Bolivia's population is severely less than the population of the US.  The population of Bolivia is 3% of the whole population of the US.

ii) Where do the people live in this country?  Rural areas?  Urban areas?  What are the populations in the two cities you used for Question 2 b)?
Most people in Bolivia live in the urban areas.  The population of Sucre is 307,000 and the population of Santa Cruz is 1.719 million.

b) Agriculture-
i) What types of agriculture do they have and what type of diet do they have?
In Bolivia, they grow things such as quinoa, soybeans, coffee, cocoa, cotton, corn, sugarcane, rice, potatoes, Brazil nuts, and timber.  Lunch is the main meal in Bolivia.  Potatoes are the main staple of Bolivia and is served at most meals.  Popular food dishes is humitas which is steamed fresh corn with cheese wrapped in corn leaves.  Another popular food is an empinadas which is a pastry with cheese, onion and olives inside.

c) Industry and Tourism
i) Are industry and tourism related to geography and climate?
Bolivia's main source of income is its mining industry.  They export things such as natural gases, zinc, and tin.  The climate does not have an affect on this industry, but its geographic location lets it have many trading partners because it is in close range with many countries.

d) Cultural Activities
i) Are there any notable historical events that add to the climate/culture story?
Be sure to cite your sources!!!  A good way to do this is to write the name of the organization in parenthesis after the facts and then embed a link to the website or source in that word.  For example, 2 million people worldwide die each year from unsafe drinking water (World Health Organization).
The indigenous cultures of Bolivia can be divided into three geographical groups: The Amozonia who live in the tropical forest, The Andean who live in the Andes mountains, and The Chaco who come from the Eastern dry forest and desert.  The largest culture is the Quechua (part of the Andean culture) and the number over 2.5 million.  (http://boliviabella.com/bolivia-cultures.html)
